Album Info:After browsing through my albums I started noticing over exposed and washed out photos mostly from poor editing. I started bringing down the brightness and increasing the color saturation with a few photos, and wow what a difference. These edited photos do not have exact dates, but I hope you enjoy browsing through them.

Early Mornin "Ghost"
Title:  Early Mornin "Ghost"
Description:  I remember a time back in 08-09 when the C39-8s were passing through Shenandoah. Interestingly you would never see them on a NB freight, just south headed for Roanoke, VA. It now makes sense because they were all retired and/or scrapped. Most of the NS units were set up for Long Hood Forward operation. Train crews complained mostly about the exhaust which blew back in the cab. I always liked their "Brute" like appearance, but then again I did not have to ride in the cab for hours either. I remember too, a crewman was telling me they were undependable and frequently in the shop.
